Yeshe De
Tarthang Tulku founded the Yeshe De Project in 1983 in honor of one of the greatest translators of 8th-century Tibet.
The Yeshe De team of volunteers work together all year long to produce hundreds of thousands of books annually to be given away at the Bodh Gaya World Peace Ceremony. More than 3 million sacred texts have been given away to over 3,300 dharma centers throughout India, Nepal, Bhutan and Tibet, constituting what is believed to be the largest free distribution of texts in history.
