Documentary Film Project: Your donations allow Guna to continue work on our documentary film project, chronicling over forty years of Tarthang Tulku’s and his students’ monumental accomplishments in preserving Tibetan civilization. These efforts have been a beacon of light at a time when Tibetan culture is caught in the darkest hour of its long history.
Tibetan Yak Liberation: Your donations and sponsorships provide for the rescue and release of Tibet’s beloved, noble yaks. With your support, rescuers are able to liberate yaks from the slaughterhouse and care for them so that they can live out their natural lives in freedom.
Guna’s mission is to share the timeless beauty and wisdom of the Tibetan Nyingma Buddhist tradition through film and dynamic digital media.In less than a year, we’ve already:
- gathered stunning footage at the World Peace Ceremony at the Buddha’s birthplace in India;
- filmed the Odiyan temple complex from the air;
- established fully-cataloged digital video and photo archives;
- produced short digital videos promoting Dharma projects;
- and begun production of our groundbreaking documentary film.
